REPORT ON ONAM CELEBRATION

“The unit of SNA, SDUCON had organized “Onam Celebration” on 08/09/22 at 11:00 am in the University Auditorium, SDUMC. The programme started with Invocation song by III year B.Sc nursing students. The gathering was welcomed by Dr. G. Vijayalakshmi, Principal, SDUCON. To brighten and cheer up the Onam festivity “Maveli” was welcomed by all with laughter. The celebration was Inagurated by all the dignitaries. The history of Onam celebration was exhibited in form of Tableau by 2nd year B.Sc Nusring students. A ritualistic dance of Kerala THIRUVAATHIRA was performed by the 4th year B.Sc nursing students. Later there was a group dance performed by the 3rd year GNM Nursing students followed by Group Song by 3rd year B.Sc nursing students. The programme ended at 12:30pm with vote of thanks by Ms. Anjitha T Reji, 2nd year B.Sc Nursing followed by Onasadya for all the students and staffs of SDUCON..”
