Sri Devaraj Urs School and College of Nursing is a unit of Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust, which was started in the year 1986, with a vision of providing quality education and training to all health care professionals under the Chairmanship of Sri R.L. Jalappaji.

The trust started the Diploma in Nursing in the year 1995, Basic B.Sc(N) in 1998 M.Sc.(N) with all specialties in the year 2006 and P.B B.Sc.(N)  in 2011 respectively.

The School and College of nursing are recognized by Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.  The School of Nursing is under the KSDNEB (Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Education Board) and College of Nursing if affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.  Both School and College of Nursing is accorded with ISO 9001-2015 certification.
